Shadan Hojin Yokohama International Tennis Community, the birthplace of tennis in Japan and located in Yamate park,
shall have its objectives: to offer tennis facilities to its members, both Japanese and foreign; to promote their friendship and sportsmanship through activities; to popularize the sport by offering tennis schools and lessons and holding various tournaments; and, thus, to contribute to the advancement of the sport itself; to the services to the citizens and to the promotion of international understanding and goodwill in the local community.
